Land consolidation is a process of primary influence on the outlook of rural development, especially agriculture sector and includes a complex of organizational, legal, economic, cadastral measures,which aim formation of massives or lands compact in space and stable in time, creating optimal conditions for their rational use destination. At the state level has been developed and approved project aimed at land consolidation activities in the period 2012-2027 - "National Strategy for Land Consolidation". Necessity. Excessive fragmentation and small areas of infield, as a result of privatization reform, allocation of the land shares for peasants in agriculture sector, have resulted in significant loss of agricultural productivity, failure of processing technologies and crop rotation, soil degradation, impossibility of implementing agricultural practices economically viable and environmentally friendly, that worsening environmental conditions. Predominance of family farms and farmland inadequate structure, causes a undeveloped rural infrastructure with a perspective of slow development of the agricultural sector. Relatively low incomes in rural areas, causing a migration of the people from villages to the cities of the country and beyond.

In consolidation strategy with a definite purpose, there is need to develop a program of information and massive involvement of population, especially the youth, which will depend the way of agricultural development and rural development on the whole. This topic requires a particularly important special domain, because without it, the process of land consolidation has not a sustainable future.
